Founded in 2002
Manoj Saxena and his family, the Saxena Family Foundation is a private philanthropic organization committed to improving the quality of life of women, children and senior citizens in the communities in which we live.
The foundation has particular focus on initiatives that promote U.S. STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and empowerment of girls, children and young women so that they have equal rights later in life.
Despite many international agreements affirming women’s rights women are still disadvantaged than men.
They are more likely to be poor and illiterate than men and usually have less access to medical care, employment, entrepreneurial opportunities, credit, and training. Women are far more likely to be victims of domestic violence as well.
Our foundation focuses on empowerment programs to include Economic empowerment, Educational empowerment, and Political empowerment of women through literacy programs, job and life skills training. We partner with a wide range of outside individuals and organizations through our programs.
